The ground floor was the practical working part of the house. Entering through a large hand made double door, you will be in an imposing high ceilinged stone floored hall. From here the stairs lead up and the original grain storage, wine making rooms (bodega) and large stable led off. These are still largely unchanged except for the stable which has been transformed into an internal patio.
