It's not only walking here in the mountains.
About 300m below Pitres (15mins by car) is Fondales, a beautiful small village nestling amongst the almond and olive terraces. Here, on the very edge of the village, Sheilagh Mulry, a very fine potter and painter with many years of teaching experience, has her well equipped studio. Sheilagh offers a range of courses in pottery and water colour that accomodate the novice and the experienced.
Her partner, Conor Clifford, has been walking and guiding in these mountains for 15yrs. A very friendly and entertaining Irishman, he and Sheilagh can split larger groups between each other - a very easy and flexible arrangement.
If interested, even if only for a one day pottery course or walk, it is advisable to book.
